FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 2, 2017
|WEEK OF 1o/2/17 AT-A-GLANCE|
THANK YOU, 8th GRADE PARENTS
Many thanks are extended to the 8th Grade Parents for hosting the 8th Grade Kickball Game on Friday. From watching the students play, I know they had a blast. Thank you, as well, to Project Lead the Way teacher, Vic Pignataro, for his expert pitching!
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT DISMISSAL
In an effort to maintain student safety, if you need to change your child’s after school transportation arrangements (ex. bus pass, pick up, etc.), we ask that you please inform the main office by 1:00 PM each day. Last minute calls and emails hold-up the buses and can cause confusion. Lastly, delaying our regular dismissal delays buses picking-up students to transport them to after school sports, as well. Ensuring your child’s safety is our top priority and we thank you in advance for your support.
IT’S SPIRIT WEEK!!
This week is Spirit Week! Here is the Spirit Week Flyer that went home last week. I’ll send updates on Facebook reminding you as well! Monday, 10/2, is Dress for a Profession/Career Day.
YANKEE CANDLE TIME
The 8th Grade Class is once again running the Yankee Candle Fundraiser through the month of October. This fundraiser will go directly to the 8th grade students’ Washington, DC trip in May. Please help support our students with this fantastic fundraiser.
