FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 19, 2018
|WEEK OF 2/19/18 AT-A-GLANCE|
On Thursday, 2/22, we will have a 1/2 day of school for parent-teacher conferences. We will dismiss promptly at 11:30 AM and students in Grade 4 MUST be met at the bus stop by an adult. In Grades 4-6, you will be invited to a conference if your child’s teacher(s) feel it’s necessary. In Grades 7 and 8, teachers will be in their classrooms from 12:15–2:30 and they’ll be available on a first come, first serve basis.
If you are dropping-off your child in the morning, please do so from the upper parking lot in front of the school building. Pulling-up close to the building causes congestion for our buses and teachers who need to park. At 7:40 each morning, we have personnel at the cross-walk to ensure your child’s safe entry into the building.
During three half days in the first semester, students participated in three explorations, or courses designed by teacher which students selected based on their interests. You’ve seen the pictures on our Facebook page and now here’s a video we want to share with you!
Join us at this month’s BOE Meeting. We will meet this Tuesday, February 20th, in the MS Library at 7:00 PM!
The 7th & 8th Grade semi-formal will now take place on Thursday, May 24th. Please mark your calendars!
